Norb was born in 1935 in south St. Louis. He is a 1953 graduate of CBC High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Norb began his insurance career in 1958 and he co-founded Crawford-Butz & Associates in 1960.

In 2000, Norb turned over the reins of the company to his two sons, Steve and Mike. Although semi-retired, Norb has a wealth of knowledge and experience that he is eager to share with his clients and staff. He enjoys the long term friendships of a multitude of family clients, as well as the insurance companies our agency represents.

Norb and his wife Elaine have been married for over 40 years have eleven children and 27 grandchildren. He enjoys traveling and participating in church and community issues.
